Our two hotels consist of 2 separate buildings, which are located directly next to each other - our guesthouse "Auberge le Journal" and our "Hotel le Journal".
The Auberge opened its doors back in 2002 and now consists of 20 rooms. In 2013, we expanded our range of rooms by another 20 rooms and added our "new" hotel, right next to the Auberge, which we have given the imaginative name "Hotel" to distinguish it.
Since the renovation of our Auberge in February 2017, which was designed with the environment in mind, all our rooms have the same standard. Thus, in addition to all-natural clay plaster, the Auberge now also features the distinctive Swiss pine wood furniture and panelling. The rooms are equipped with an open wardrobe. New stucco lights create a pleasant and bright room climate.
All rooms are functionally but lovingly furnished. You won't get claustrophobic, but you won't lose your companion either. Perfect rooms, in other words.
Basically: You have free W-LAN in your room and a bottle of mineral water from regional wells for refreshment. Of course, free parking is available directly at the hotel.
If you have your four-legged darling with you, he is also welcome at Gästehaus Auberge. This costs you 5 euros and restricts you somewhat in your choice of room. Do you have to leave early? Instead of a breakfast buffet, we will be happy to give you a packed lunch.
The rooms in the Auberge were made with clay walls and natural building materials. The distinctive Swiss stone pine furniture and panelling are now also used here. The rooms are equipped with an open wardrobe.
Each bathroom has a different artistic design, so you should remember the room number for your next visit and change.
Single rooms are available from 68 EUR per night, double rooms from 80 EUR, which are fair prices.
With the renovation and new comfort in the rooms at Haus Auberge, we have adjusted them to the hotel's in the spirit of fair prices.

The rooms in the "Hotel" boast pine wood panelling and flat-screen TVs. Of course, we have also come up with something artistic for the bathrooms here.
All rooms are suitable for allergy sufferers, two rooms on the ground floor are also completely handicapped accessible.
Single rooms are available from 61 EUR per night, double rooms from 77 EUR. If you get a room on the ground floor, you also have a nice little terrace.
Here, too, you should book the breakfast buffet, because for just 6 EUR extra, it will be your highlight of the day.
